From the early 90's up to 2002 assmann beraten + planen was engaged as project manager for the Deutsche Messe AG on the exhibition grounds in Hanover. From the numerous projects, particular attention can be drawn to the exhibition halls 4, 26, 13, 8/9 and 27.
In addition to the close cost monitoring and control, our main task was maintaining the defined time schedule. Amendments to costs were only ever possible "downwards". The construction works had to be synchronised with the undisrupted operation of the trade fairs. The checking of the bills of works, the analysis of tenders from the designers and the contractors as well as consulting with the purchasing department of the Deutsche Messe AG were further services we provided.
